This one day course is for members of the workforce who work predominantly with children, young people and/or their parents/carers and who could potentially contribute to assessing, planning, intervening and reviewing the needs of a child and the parenting capacity where there are safeguarding concerns.

Safer Sleeping Messages for Babies (under 6 months)

Children and Young People Who Present With Harmful Sexual Behaviours

This one day course is aimed to help all those working with young people and their carers understand the issues arising from children and young people who sexually harm others and the implication for their service. The course will include interactive learning, case studies, research findings and make reference to the recent WSCC Serious Case Review, ‘John’.

The course will be delivered by The Assessment and Treatment Service (ATS). The ATS is a specialist service which works with children and young people who engage in harmful sexual behaviour in West Sussex.
